Rapid Delivery CDN is a caching system that directs your customers to the nearest storage server cluster (or CDN location). As your customers access your web site, they retrieve content from the CDN location instead of the origin server. This reduces the load on your server and allows for much faster delivery of the content. Content from your origin site is pushed out to each storage server cluster via a dedicated 10 gigabit per second backbone only when it is being requested from a specific geographic location. This results in increased performance to your customers as well as a cost savings on your origin server bandwidth.
